What makes it even better is how I can use my fashionable ability outfits to gather materials from them. It's like being a stylish survivalist, but make it fantasy, you know?
The Blue Glimmerdrop Challenge
So, the Blue Tears season (1.7) is currently happening (until July 30, 2025), and I've been grinding through the 'Drifting Toward Tomorrow' challenge. Day 3 hit me with this objective: 'Catch 2 Blue Glimmerdrops in Breezy Meadow.' Sounds simple enough, right? WRONG! 😫
Unlike the regular Glimmerdrops that pop up all over the place year-round, these special Blue ones are season-exclusive and can't be tracked on your map. I spent like two hours running around like a headless chicken before figuring this out!
Where to Find These Elusive Creatures
After much frustration (and maybe a tiny rage quit), I discovered that Blue Glimmerdrops spawn reliably at the lake near the Abandoned Fanatic Wisher Camp. If that location sounds familiar, it's because it's the same spot where we investigate the Wishing Tablet and Sith's Memory Realm during the season's storyline.
Here's the kicker though - just like their regular cousins, Blue Glimmerdrops only come out at night! They're total night owls, appearing between 22:00-4:00 game time. I wasted so much time looking during the day...
Pro tip: If you're impatient like me, just use the Run, Pear-Pal feature to fast-forward to nighttime. Life-changing, honestly.
Catching These Glowy Bugs
Once I finally spotted some floating around (they're pretty, not gonna lie), I had to:

The first time I tried, I completely missed! The little buggers are faster than they look. But after a few attempts, I managed to snag two of them for the objective.

The developers have really outdone themselves with these seasonal activities. The way they integrate fashion, exploration, and collection mechanics is just chef's kiss. There's something so satisfying about swinging that bug net while dressed in the perfect outfit!
